The Peggy Karr 8-inch autumn garden plate is beautiful and practical. Perfect as a breakfast or dinner plate, or a stand-alone art piece, the autumn garden plate is delicate, yet durable and, it will never fade. The design is a part of the dish – it is not painted on the plate, and it is not applied with adhesives – it’s actually part of the dish. Powdered colors are placed between two pieces of glass and then the total piece is fired at over 1500-degree fahrenheit, melting the glass together and permanently sealing in the colors and design. Since Peggy Karr products go through this process, this plate can be used every day, and the beautiful colors and design enjoyed for a lifetime. This plate is microwave safe. Plate is also dishwasher safe, but be mindful of harsh detergents and hard water so it doesn’t haze. Like all untempered glass, this plate should not be placed in an oven.
